Accessibility Statement

CPPDC is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Our standard

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, conformance level AA) — the current internationally recognized standard for accessible web content.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so the site works with screen readers and assistive technology
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Ensure all interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) are reachable via keyboard
  • Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
  • Use clear headings and reading structure
  • Keep form labels visible and associated with their fields

Known limitations

This site is a recent launch. As we add new content (events, blog posts, downloadable materials), we may not catch every accessibility issue immediately. We treat reported issues as priority work.

Report an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site — anything from a screen-reader problem to text that’s hard to read — please tell us:

Please describe the page, the issue, the assistive technology you’re using (if any), and any browser/OS details. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
